Egypt: The end of “Pearl” shocks viewers and disturbs his heroine

Khairallah to “Asharq Al-Awsat”: “The series played on the mixture of guaranteed success.”

After the Egyptian series “Pearl” achieved high viewing rates over the days of its presentation, finally, the forty and final episode of it not only caused a “shock” to the viewers, but also raised the annoyance of its heroine, Mai Omar, after the curtain was brought down on its dramatic events that recently escalated and achieved remarkable popularity Among the “social media” audience in Egypt and some Arab countries.

The series concluded its events on the evening of yesterday, with the killing of “Badr Yassin”, who was portrayed by the young artist Muhammad Al-Sharnoubi, at the hands of “Magdy … the director of the famous singer Lu’lu ‘,” which was presented by the artist Edward, after the first tried to blackmail her by publishing an offensive video of her. Edward in the last scene by working on his passionate love for the singer and his life for her.

Omar confirmed, in televised statements the day before yesterday, about her dissatisfaction with the end of the series, saying, “If time comes back to me, the ending will change completely, because a good person must have his fate like his good deeds, but there is no trick because it is too late to object or change The end originally, ”adding,“ When reading the script, the vision is different from what we see at the time of filming. When reading the script, the end looks good, but it became clear to me the opposite. ”

The series “Pearl” revolves around a poor girl who lives a harsh childhood due to her mother’s prison conditions and her grandmother’s forced to deposit her in a shelter, and there she lives a large part of her life until she goes out to life and becomes a famous singer, but this fame ignites some feelings of hatred and hatred against her from many From those close to her.

Although many observers have expressed their dissatisfaction with the end of the series, which they described as “illogical” and “shocking”, the Egyptian art critic Magda Khairallah believes that the end of any work is not necessarily logical or expected, and she says to “Asharq Al-Awsat”: “Audience’s criticism of the series’ ending is illogical, because we, as viewers, when we see a work, we hope that it reaches a certain end, but in reality the author of the work has his own point of view, and the familiar ending is in fact closer to the weak, because the ending has to be unexpected, The end is not necessarily on the mood of the viewers, and in fact the series has achieved great success with the audience.

The work tournament was attended by Mai Omar, Ahmed Zahir, Naglaa Badr, Hedy Karim, Edward, Salwa Othman, Muhammad Al-Sharnoubi, Hadeer Abdel Nasser, and the script and dialogue of Muhammad Mahran and directed by Muhammad Abdel Salam, and director Mohamed Sami supervised the writing and directing.

Khairallah expressed her annoyance at classifying the people in the series, saying: “The author classifies people as black and white only, so the good are exaggerated, and they do nothing but take blows from others, and the bad guys are evil without backing down and their actions are very cruel and may be unjustified, and this is something It is surprising in the classification of the heroes within the story, in addition to the fact that the work as a whole played on the content and its story was more like a mixture that is guaranteed to succeed, namely the theme of revenge and the struggle between good and evil, as the good seeks revenge against the evil in the end.

While the series has achieved great success recently thanks to the performance of its actors, according to followers and critics, Khairallah says that its heroine, Mai Omar, needed a long period of preparation before assigning the mission of the first championship to her, as she is undoubtedly diligent and made a great effort to appear as we saw on the screen, however. She needs a period during which her skills have developed greatly. Unfortunately, her emotions came out in many situations, one despite the multiplicity of these situations between joy, sadness, shock, resentment and others, unlike many of the artists surrounding her who have experience, she is generally acceptable, but if she is keen to continue In the art profession, she must develop her skills and move away from the safe zone of her husband, Mohamed Sami and his assistants, in order to prove to us her true talent.

Concerning the other heroes of the work, Khairallah says: “Ahmed Zahir was overreactive in many situations, and I claim that the best representative in them is Edward, who was very good and understood the character of (Magdy).”
