After the increase in injuries an international consultant offers a recipe for dealing with Corona in Egypt

The numbers of infections in Egypt with the “Corona” virus continued to rise until they approached a thousand, according to the Egyptian Ministry of Health, which revealed the registration of 991 new cases that proved positive for laboratory analyzes of the virus, yesterday, Monday, in addition to 58 new deaths, which are the highest numbers since mid-January / Last January.

In conjunction with the increasing numbers, the Ministry of Education in Egypt announced, in a surprising decision, on Sunday, to end the school year at the end of this April, for all students except for the preparatory and secondary certificates.

The Egyptian Minister of Education, Tariq Shawky, said in press statements that the increase in the current cases, and the expectation of the continuation of the increase during the month of Ramadan, were among the reasons for the ministry’s belief that it would be more appropriate to suffice with this amount of study for this year.

In recent days, there has been an escalation in the tone of talk about the outbreak of Corona, although the media affiliated with the authority in Egypt has been trying since the outbreak of the pandemic about two years ago to seek to reduce the seriousness of the situation in Egypt.

Calls have also escalated on social media for further measures, whether governmental or popular, to confront the dangerous situation, and one of these was the international clinical research consultant, Ashraf Amr El-Feki, who directed, on his Facebook page, a set of advice to the Egyptian government to deal with the new wave of Coronavirus Al-Feki’s advice received a great response from followers.

Through a group of publications, Al-Feki provided advice for dealing with the next 40 days. Because managing the crisis during it will mean either saving or the death of thousands of cases, as well as trapping or spreading injuries. The health advisor also provided a recipe for dealing with airports, hospitals, educational facilities, streets, and others.

The Egyptian doctor called on the Ministry of Health to issue an official statement expressing its medical position and the state’s stance towards the British AstraZeneca vaccine after his recent problems, which the Minister has already responded to in a press conference in which she spoke about the vaccine.

But El-Fiqi returned and criticized the statements of the Egyptian Minister of Health, as her statements, “the first is not technical, the second is not clear, and the last is not sincere,” according to his publication, and he published the correct statements that the minister had to present, from his point of view.

A number of doctors in Port Said Governorate revealed numbers they described as “terrifying”, due to Corona virus infections in the governorate, with the beginning of the third wave.

Dr. Reham Arnous, one of the doctors volunteering to support home isolation patients in Port Said, said that the increase in the governorate is not only in the number of injuries; But there is also a significant increase in the number of deaths, the unit of injuries, which has risen to a dangerous degree, and which is not suitable for home isolation.

Dr. Walid Najm described the situation as catastrophic in light of the lack of oxygen, as doctors are forced to make a difficult choice among patients to provide the oxygen available to them, pointing out that there are no oxygen cylinders in the governorate, as they obtain cylinders from other governorates.

On the other hand, the Ramadan tents, which celebrate their evenings in the presence of art and singing stars, continued to open their doors in various parts of Cairo, in the midst of severe crowding, without any precautionary measures, at a time when the government showed a greater degree of firmness with religious activities such as Tarawih prayers, and sports such as Ramadan courses that Egyptians used to hold in this month.

The media, Lamis Al-Hadidi, through her program on the “Extra News” channel, criticized the spread of Ramadan tents, which violated the precautionary measures despite the existence of an official decision prohibiting their establishment during the month of Ramadan.

Lamis Al-Hadidi showed video clips of Ramadan tents holding concerts by famous singers, asking who had granted licenses to hold these concerts.
